A large and ornate cast iron Victorian Fireplace c1890 with very crisp detailed casting. The fireplace frieze features a lyre flanked by cornucopia over a continous rope twist border.
There are urns at the top of the legs which are fluted, twisted, beaded and garlanded pillars . There is a shallow canopy with more decoration.
It has a 16 inch grate and is large enough to take a gas fire. It comes with its original fireback but has replacement bars and cover. It would suit a quarry tile hearth.
