An Edwardian Cast Iron Fireplace c 1905
named "the Prince". It is decorated
with
shields in the top corner blocks. The frieze
has a sunflower pattern (which
is mirrored
on the upper part of each leg) and Acanthus
decoration on either
side. The Canopy is
slightly curved and has scrollwork radiating
outwards.
The mantel has a bullnose edge
and a generous depth of 6 inches.
This fireplace would be completed with a
14" fireback and grate if required
for solid
fuel.
An ash tidy and hearth can also be supplied.
