The Shire Newton Fascia is designed to incorporate a basket type fire, but it reduces the fireplace opening size of a traditional mantel to prevent smoke escaping into the room space.

A simple rib around the fire opening is the sole feature of the Shire Newton which gives this fireplace fascia a distinctly minimalist feel.
