Marble mantles were common throughout the Victorian era, with Carrara marble perhaps the most popular choice. Limestone provides a more contemporary interpretation of the traditional styles shown here.

Mantels with product codes beginning gesm can be made to order in different sizes. Samples of the stone material can be posted out before an order is taken.

A generous design dating from around 1860. It has extended corbels with a delicately carved raised leaf motif. There is also panelled relief work on the legs and the arched frieze.
