Marble mantles were common throughout the Victorian era, with Carrara marble perhaps the most popular choice. Limestone provides a more contemporary interpretation of the traditional styles shown here.
Mantels with product codes beginning gesm can be made to order in different sizes. Samples of the stone material can be posted out before an order is taken.

This mantel is very similar to the Genoa with its plain legs and frieze but it has a moulded shelf which gives it a more traditional feel.

This is the Modena mantel without a shelf. It has bolection moulding around the fireplace opening.

A plain mid Victorian period mantel similar in style to the Flat Victorian mantel. It has simple square capitals at top of straight legs with small block feet. There is moulding above the foot blocks and below the capitals.
