Our functional firebaskets or inchdog inch baskets are designed to hold solid fuel although some are suitable for gas or electric fires.
Some Firebasket need supporting and we have a full range of fire dogs.
If your basket is to be used for SOLID FUEL the FINISH should be BLACK as Polished Surfaces will discolour locally with the heat
When in use for heating The Ash Pan Cover Must Be Removed as it will get hot!
Please Note Solid Fuel Kits are an extra at £25 and include the bottom grate for burning solid fuel and an ashpan

St George and the Dragon Fireplate

An Optional EXTRA
This fireplate rests on the back of the fire opening. It is reversible, plain on one side and with a polished highlighted picture of St George and the dragon on the other. It will help to radiate heat into the room and protect the brickwork behind the fire.
